The so called ‘crisis of masculinity’ is based primarily on diverse research findings and anecdotal evidence. The main aim of this report is to investigate the reliability of these claims by examining the evidence for marginalisation in key areas of consequence for men and to explore the experience and background to marginalisation through the stories of a number of men from a socially excluded group.
