This study, undertaken by The Children's Research Centre, Trinity College deals with the experience of sixty children, aged between eight and seventeen years, most of whose parents had separated within the previous five years. The study sets out to gain an understanding, from children's perspectives, of the impact of parental separation on their lives and the support needs that arise from these experiences.
